5.1 Introduction

This standard defines a choreography for communicating data about sound recordings and music videos and the musical works that are embodied in them as well as right share data about those musical works. For the purposes of this document this communication is called a BWARM data feed.

The choreography for the communication of the files created in accordance with this standard is depicted in Figure 1 below. The protocol for the communication of the files created in accordance with this standard shall be SFTP. The naming conventions to be used are defined in Clauses 5.3, 5.4 and 6 of this standard.

This standard does not define an acknowledgement file as there is currently no need for the data feed sender to receive any acknowledgement of receipt.
