6.2.7 Communicating decimals and integers

The BWARM standard does not prescribe a specific precision in which decimal numbers are to be given. The data feed sender and data feed recipient of the files making up a BWARM data feed must agree a precision for the context of this exchange of data. The same applies to integers.

Users of the BWARM standard are reminded that some accounting applications may only be able to handle six, or even only four, decimal places.
