6.7 Parties file

The file describing the parties associated with the musical works that make up the Records in the musical works file in a BWARM data feed and shall be called parties.tsv. It is referenced in the manifest file's TableType as Parties. It shall contain none, one or more data Records as follows:

The name(s) preceding the KeyName in the FullName and which is placed after the KeyName when the FullName appears in an indexed form.

Not all FullNames have a NamesBeforeKeyName.

KeyName

The part of the FullName of the party that is the subject of the Record which is normally used to index the party in an entry in an alphabetical list.

For persons, this normally corresponds to the "family name" or names.

In Western name forms this usually comes as a surname at the end of a FullName, and in Asian name forms this usually comes at the beginning of a FullName.

The name(s) that follow the KeyName.

This is common in many Asian personal name forms where a FullName begins with the KeyName, which is followed by other names.

This is usually in relation to legal entities such as music publishers, rather than individual persons.

A flag indicating whether the sender of the BWARM data feed has a reason to believe that the contact information relating to the party that is the subject of the Record may not be valid, where the value true indicates that this is the case and the value false indicates that the contact information as provided in Cells 11, 12 and 13 is believed to be valid.

This flag may only be provided if contact information is provided. If this flag is omitted, the data feed sender has no reason to believe that the party is not reachable via the contact information provided.
